formula does not work properly

dear sirs

i just wanted to create a work sheet in excel 2013.
the following are the columns:
(a) (b) (c) (d)
date no. of rate value
pieces



7th 10 5 50 like that

in cell (d) i entered the formula to get the value (=b3*c3)
no problem to get the correct value

but when i copy the cell d (with formula), the value is
copied and not the calculated value in the cells copied.

how to do that?
