Default Error message when trying to open excel file

All of a sudden when I try to open an excel file I am getting an error message saying file name and path is not correct....
If I click the ok button it will open
What is causing this issue

It might be that you've changed one of your default file locations, maybe for the templates. I think you have to check this in Word. (File: Options: Advanced: File Locations).
