Default Problems with F2 xl2003 vs XL2013

dear mr gebobs

thanks a lot. tried and succeeded.

at this time, i would also be thankful if you guide me in
editing a formula by pressing f2 key.

when i press the f2 button, a vertical graph like thing
appears. in excel 2003, if pressed f2, the contents of
that particular cell (text, number or formula) appears
with the cursor at the right end of the cell.

i am unable to find a solution for this.

As this is a different question, I started a new thread. This will help you get faster help.
Please do the same in the future

Gebobs I think OP wonders why default behavior of the F2 button is not the same in 2003 and 2013
