Real Time calculations

Hey all, I have a spread sheet where the rows are chores*columns are days of the week*each chore has a point value associated with it* i want to be able to input child's initials into corresponding cell and have excel calculate the points based on dat

I know my request is sketchy at best but hopefully we can work through something, I have 6 teen boys that I have to get motivated some how.

Without posting the workbook, as opposed to a picture of one sheet from the workbook, your chances of getting assistance will be somewhere between slim and none.
