Default formula in excel 2007 works not in 2013

Hi!
I am using this formula in a worksheet I created in excel 2007 but when someone open the worksheet using excel 2010 or 2013 it doesn't work it change all the numbers to #. Any ideas why?

=IF(M8="","",IF(WEEKDAY(M8)=2,"L",IF(WEEKDAY(M8)=3 ,"K",IF(WEEKDAY(M8)=4,"M",IF(WEEKDAY(M8)=5,"J",IF( WEEKDAY(M8)=6,"V",""))))))

this is for a calendar.

thanks!

Have you tried increasing the column width?

Which numbers are you talking about? Are the columns large enough?

yes , the problem is not the width, once I open the same exact document in 2010 or 2013 and I use the formula it returned #

in the worksheet, the person is supposed to write the year so the formula works by changing the days of the months but as I said it won't work on those excels. Actually, once I open it on 2010 or 2013 and go back to open it on 2007 it stops working in 2007 too.

The formula works fine for me in Excel 2010. Do note, though, that inputting an invalid value (e.g. -1, text, etc.) in M8 will generate an output whose first character is #.

So what was in M8 before you changed it? What regional & language settings is the other person using?

Has the other person tried repairing their Office installation (via Start > Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change)?

It would be easier if you posted the sheet, not a pic. The latter doesn't help much.

Not only do you need to attach an actual workbook, I can't see what the formula you posted has to do with the ### symbols. Your formula only outputs a single letter, unless an invalid input is used, but your ### symbols are typical of cells that simply aren't wide enough to display their data.
