Hi all,
I'm looking for a formula or a way in which i can show a product (i.e A) then lookup all the region and display them in the same row. Is there a way to do that? I even consider to concatenate all regions in a single cell. My workbook has a few thousand line therefore manual input is not ideal. Attached is the sample. Thanks, Haha |

Hi there m
you can create a pivot table using your original table that will show you the count of each region for each product. You can also have a graph of this pivot table You can also use that pivot table to create a table almost exactly as the one you created manually. I attach an example. Sorry for the greek in the worksheet but my Excel is greek edition ![]() |

I've never used a pivot table although they appear to be something I should explore.
Came up with this macro solution. Incorporates a separate macro to produce a list of unique products that's used as filters, then copies the results. Hit Alt + F8 to bring up the macro dialogue and run the DataArrangement macro. As per normal with Excel, there's always more than one way of doing anything. Good Luck with your project. |
