I'm trying to do a chart of weight v time for my medical records, but the observation dates are not regular, so my chart is distorted. For example if I have the following seven observation dates:
1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/15, 2/15, the seven data points appear spread evenly across the x-axis. What I really need is for them to appear with correct chronological spacing. E.g. the first five dates should cluster on the left end of the chart, the 1/15 observation should be in the middle, and the 2/15 observation should be on the right. I'm using line with markers chart type. Any suggestions? Thank you! - James |
