Pivot table
I had been trying to pivot table to extract the values into a table as required. I am not able to get the sum of the values. I have attached the file for reference. Can someone guide what has gone wrong. I need to get the different type of cables and the sum of length for the same. I had changed from count to sum of values but it returns 0 for all the items.
(highlighted columns in sheet 2)

Hi
your values in the J column are text looking like numbers, not real numbers. To solve this, select the entire range, go to the Data ribbon. Click Text to columns, and immediately the Finish button. All should be OK now
