Default Hyperlinks error msg on opening in Excel, Word

I can create a hyperlink, but on clicking to open I get error msg:

"This action is cancelled due to restriction effecting on this computer. Contact the system Admin."

I am running Office 2010 on Windows 7

Thankyou in advance for any suggestions

Ah yes, you're not often available for yourself

Same problem with other Office applications like Word?
There are general admin settings burried down somewhere in Windows, but I can't remember where or what...
