Default MS Excel 2004 for Mac - copying dates between documents

Has anyone else had problems with copying date information out of one document (just copying, and pasting or even paste special) into another, I am getting issues that from my original document, the dates are fine, the place I am pasting or pasting special to, the dates show up as 4 years later…

Any fixes anyone might know about? I am tired of making translation tabs in my documents…

Thanks in advance!
