Default COUNTIFS returning Value Error

Hi,

I have countfs form

=COUNTIFS(Project_and_BAU_PriorityColumn,"<>"&"",P roject_and_BAU_PriorityColumn,"<>Low",Project_and_ BAU_PriorityColumn,"<>Med",Project_and_BAU_Status_ Column,"<>Completed",Project_and_BAU_Status_Column ,"<>Aborted")
It uses two ranges Project_and_BaU_Priority Column and second - Project_and_BAU_Status_Column

when I delete the second range and enter cells values of the range lets say $c$5:$c$1000 it works fine and returns the desired result. However I think something is making it confuse if I use the range name Project_and_BAU_Status_Column.

Any idea why?

Regards

Umesh Banga

I can't tell if you copied the exact formula that gives you problems, but I get concerned with long named ranges and dealing with spaces.

Project_and_ BAU_PriorityColumn,"<>Med" . . . has a space after and_
Project_and_BAU_Status_ Column,"<>Completed" . . . . has a space after Status_
