Hi
I am trying to automate entries (see attached) where all the information is entered on one side, upto the sum column, I then want the appropriate heading to automatically pick the sum in the same line.



I would appreciate any help.

Have you tried IF statements? something like the following in the correct columns?

=IF(C2="CS",D2,) in the E2 cell
=IF(C3="FOOD",D3,) in F2
etc
then you would be able to copy the formulas
