I have a pie chart that is showing one of the slices with 3 different leader lines pointing to a single slice. The data it's pulling from in Excel 2010 is correct. Two of the leader lines should be pointing to different slices of the pie.



There are two slices of the pie with no data label and when I hover over them it's showing the values that is pointing to the wrong slice with the 3 different leader lines. So all the slices are there, just incorrect data labels/leader lines identifying the slices.

I can't figure out where to correct this. This is a pie chart that I have used several times with no problems.

I figured it out. The slices were too small. In 3D (exploded) it looks wrong. Using a 1D pie chart the leader lines are pointing to the correct slices. This particular pie chart has 25 slices and I wonder if there is a limit to how many slices a 3D pie chart can support. Also, the leader lines points to the side, lower point of the pie and you cannot see the precise point where it's pointing since the slices are too small. Another work around was to remove the problem data labels and insert text boxes and place where needed.
