I have two stacked bar graphs on my excel worksheet that break down the 3 different categories. I want to be able to display the overall total on the bar graph without having to use a text box and update it all the time. The overall total will change as records are added. I can use a text box but have to update the total every time a record is added. Is there a way to add a form on the graph without having to update it? Can I use a control?

Easily done. Add a line chart for the totals, add data labels, format the line color to "no color".
