Default Control Time Calculaiton depending on whether line is running or not.

I have a schedule that tracks when parts should be off the line.

How can I add another function to my time to allow for gaps in time depending on whether a line is actually running or not.

Line 3 will not run on 1st shift but will run on second shift.
I have added a simplified spread sheet to provide a better idea of what I am doing.

On your sheet, you say "the completion time for customer 222 should be 6:30 PM". If the shift starts at 3 pm and they can make 20/shift, wouldn't the order for 222, 10 parts, finish at 7 pm?

Do you want to account for lunch breaks? Do the shifts only run zero or 8 hours?

Yes, you are right it would be 7pm. Shifts could run from 0, up to 8 hours. (usually lines run 2hrs, 4hrs, or 8hrs)

When I did it in my head I was thinking start time at 6:30am and added the hours from there. 6:30 is just when I update the schedule.

I won't be accounting for breaks or for lunch. The average time for parts to come off the line will be figured as an average for the whole shift.

I will make the corrections to the spread sheet now. (I re-uploaded the spread sheet as Account for shifts 2)
