About 1 year ago I created an Excel chart for tracking fleet vehicle service. I made it so I would click on a cell and a check mark would appear in that cell. I didn't have to insert a symbol manually. I am now adding additional worksheets, and for the life of me I can't remember how I did that. BTW, the original template I made does not paste that feature to the new sheet?
Thanks, first time user, Dan |

What is the purpose of the check mark? Is it just a character within the cell? Would other characters also be in the cell?

No other purpose, other than signify on the worksheet (grid of 1100 spaces) that a service has been completed on that day and vehicle. The service employees click right in the corresponding cell and check marks the field. Consistent, 1 click fast and easy, rather than dealing with inserting special characters. It works great, just cannot add more worksheets to the workbook and have it act the same.

You don't have any sheets that had this feature anymore?
