hello im new here.....i would like to make a cell named ''expiry date'' and when i enter a specific date the cell turns red when it reaches the date i want.
i managed to do it but i have to select each item by time and go to conditional formatting and set the date i want and i dont want to do that cause it takes time and hard what i want is all i have to do is just type a date and when it reaches the date the call turns red please help |

Hi
you always will have to enter your expiry date somewhere. Why not enter it in say D1 ( or whatever). Your expiry date cell ( say A1) - Select it , go to conditional formatting and enter the following formula =A1=$D$1 and format as required.
