I'm using an older version of Excel (2007) on a Windows 7 desktop. For years the macros I've written have worked fine. Today I get this message when I try and run a macro "The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros may be disabled." I've looked into the Trust Center Settings and they are set to Enable All Macros.
Do any of you know why this happened all of a sudden and how I might be able to have them function again? Thanks for considering this. Pete |

Hi Pete
Honestly, the whole Trust Center is a chapter of its own, I'm as well still battling with its settings and notifications. But what we will need is more information on the issue: - Do you get any notification regarding the macros when opening the file? (Sometimes it's only a line of notification which apears on top of the columnheaders) - Did you use the files before on this computer with Win7 and Office 2007 or are you using them now the first time? - Have you assigned any Trust-Certificates to the files? Cheers |

Thanks for the reply. There is no indication when opening the files that there is any problem at all. I've been using these macros in several spreadsheets for over two years. Until this morning, they worked like a charm.
I'm not familiar with assigning Trust-Certificates. I'll look into that tonight. Thanks very much. Pete |

I added the folders to the trusted locations and that did the trick. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
