Default problem with time in report download

I am trying to evaluate my long distance plan with regards to free overseas calling.
My plan allows for free call to overseas numbers and costs $10.00 more per month for that option, (Vonage World Plan)
I can download a .csv file from the Vonage web site with the overseas calls sorted by number (011).
The duration field on the web site activity report is displayed as 31:30 (31 min 30 sec) or 12:02 (12 min 02 sec) or 03:59:07 ( 3 hrs 57 min 07 sec). When I import this file into excel these fields appear as 31:30:00 [1/1/1900 7:30:00 AM] or as 12:02 [12:02:00 PM] or 03:57:07 [3:59:07 AM].
I’m sure there is an easy way to display these fields in a form that represents the actual length of time in hours, minutes, and seconds, so that the total duration of calls can be calculated.
Unfortunately I have not been successful in finding that solution.
Thanks for any help,
Robert
