Wellcome to our forum ![]() You have to create the pivot table in the second workbook, and choose the first workbook as the data source. In the Create Pivot Table menu, choose the second option: Use an external Data Source and click the button: Choose Connection. The existing connections window will show up, choose Browse for More, then browse for your data file (choose excel files in the filter). After you select the file, the Select table window will show up. It contains sheet names, not table names, so choose the sheet that contains your table. Make sure that the first row in that sheet is the header row... Cheers, Catalin |
