Unable to scroll to the rigjht or to teh left of the screen

For a specific spreadsheet that I created I am unable to scroll to access into areas beyond the right or to the bottom of the screen. When I move the cursor beyond the screen border it disappears rather than the spreadsheet moving into view. The problem does not happen with other spreadsheets that I have created
