Print return address on envelope
I am trying to print a return address on a #10 envelope. I have set the top and left margins to 0, but it still wants to print 1.5 inches from the edge of the envelope. What can I do to get the return address to print in the proper place? |

My first inclination would be to advise against using a spreadsheet program as a word processor.
Otherwise, go to the Page Layout tab. Under Margins, select Custom. Make sure the Top and Left margins are zero. Lastly, set the Header margin to zero. |

You may also find that setting your top margin to 0 although that should move it to the top that your printer may not be physically capable of printing that close to the edge of envelope. The rollers inside the printer which move the paper or envelope through need an area they can grab at the ends of the paper to keep it straight so the print heads may not be able to reach right to the edge.

Tried all of the things mentioned and none of them worked. I called CANON and was told that it was the printer that restricted the print area. However, I reconfigured my file and printed from a different orientation and got it to work.

Ok great so your printer depending on where the rollers are can print closer to one side than the other. Glad you have a work around.

It took a while, but I hate to let these things get the better of me.
