Hi,
I have a little problem that I can't figure out. Maybe any of you clever people can help me. I have a normal workbook containing Sheet1 and 3 sheets named: 1000 m, 2000 m, 3000 m. On Sheet1 I have an input cell. I would like to use that input cell to select data from sheet 1000 m or 2000 m. ex If input cell is 2000 m I should use data from 2000 m sheet. I have tried to mess around with Defining name of the input cell like this: Input cell defined as Input. Then I though I could do something like this in another cell on sheet1: =Input!A2 If the Input is 1000 m it should then use data from sheet 1000 m cell A2 If the Input is 2000 m it should then use data from sheet 2000 m cell A2 But it doesn't work. I'm an Excel novice so any suggestion is more than welcome ![]() |

Then INDIRECT function didn't do the trick for me. But I found another solution.
