VLOOKUP Formula?

Question VLOOKUP Formula?

Here's what I want to do in a Workbook: In Worksheet2 B7 (5-digit ZIP) go to Worksheet3 Column A (5-digit ZIP) & MATCH then for row, import Column B data (Post Office Name) to Worksheet2 G7.

I am not knowledgeable or experienced using VLOOKUP (I think this is the function I should use). I tried several formulas from online tutorials but I only get errors. I want to use this function in numerous other areas of my workbook and the data type differs if that is pertinent.

Can someone advise me of the formula for this one particular function above? (If you are willing, I would like to understand the syntax of the formula since I may need to modify it for the other desired areas. )

Thanks! Keith

I have tried to attach a copy of the workbook with personal information removed, worksheets deleted, etc. but it still exceeds the maximum file upload size. Any suggestions? Thanks, Keith

Sample file attached.

As a result of making a sample, the original worksheets in the sameple are not correct. The original workbook had four sheets and my instructions were working from 2 through 4.

Thanks,

Keith

I have reuploaded sample workbook with labels. The original workbook has 50,000+ rows in facility name worksheet (WS2) and about 100 operations codes (WS3). The sample does not yield any matches below.

Here are the desired functions I want to perform:

On WS1 take data in B4
Look up match in W2 Col A
Take data in Cols B & C & import to WS1 G4 & H4

Take WS1 C4
Look up match in Col A
Take data in Cols B & C & import to WS1 I4 & J4

Thanks,

Keith
