VLOOKUP Formula?
Here's what I want to do in a Workbook: In Worksheet2 B7 (5-digit ZIP) go to Worksheet3 Column A (5-digit ZIP) & MATCH then for row, import Column B data (Post Office Name) to Worksheet2 G7.
I am not knowledgeable or experienced using VLOOKUP (I think this is the function I should use). I tried several formulas from online tutorials but I only get errors. I want to use this function in numerous other areas of my workbook and the data type differs if that is pertinent. Can someone advise me of the formula for this one particular function above? (If you are willing, I would like to understand the syntax of the formula since I may need to modify it for the other desired areas. ) Thanks! Keith |
