Default Creating new field in pivot table based off existing field

I need to create a new field in an excel pivot table called "regions". These regions are based off the DistrictCode Field where district codes can be grouped in to a region. For instance, codes 7C, 8A, and 8 can be grouped in the Permian Region. Code 2,3,4,5,6,9,& 10 are Golf of Mexico. How to do I use the DistrictCode field to create a new Regional field?
