Formula works on most cells
I Have a formula that works on over 3,000 cells but for some reason 4 cells don't recognize the formula.
=IF(A1="D",A1,IF(A1="DB",A1,"")) Has anyone had this issue before. A1 comes from another worksheet. I wnet into the problem cell and typed over the D, put in DB and then went back and typed the D and now those cells work. I am very curious about how this is possible and want to make sure it doesn't happen again. Thoughts GWB |

Probably a space before or after the search string.
try Code:
=IF(or(trim(a1)="D",trim(A1)="DB"),A1,"")
