hello!
I was hoping to solve this easily without any VB programming, but either way my problem is too hard for me (i think of myself as moderate excel rookie). I have decided to ask for your help or any kind of advice. Thanks. ![]() So: I've turned 100+ pdf documents in one big excel file. It is nicely divided into cells, but I would like to extract specific type of data, like Name, Surname, ID. In column A I have cell like: 1.Name, 2.Surname, 3.ID in column B i have data: John, Doe, 123 Is there any formula like: =from column A where value is "1.Name" copy matching B cell? e.g. in line A125 is value "1.Name" and I want copy cell B125 "John" (and paste it in another column or sheet). Thank you very much in advance! ![]() (Title of thread is horrible, I know. ![]() |

You can use filters to do that.
See the attached sample file if I understand you correctly... CopyData.xlsx |
