Pivots or Formula?

Hi,
I have two spreadsheets one which contains arrivals information and the other Departures as attached.

I would like to draw information from both spreadsheet, for example to find all guests arriving on 07/02 prior to 14:00 and all guests that are leaving on that same day.

Could I use a pivot table or formula which searches information across two spreadsheets, if not could you suggest another alternative to draw this information?

you can use both as per your easiness either you want whole information as on particular date or summery only
