Excel 2013 Alt F doesn't block selection in find anymore
To do a find, I used to be able to hit Alt F, type something, and hit enter and it would find what I was looking for. If I had a previous find in the search textbox, it would automatically be highlighted as would be deleted as soon as I started typing something new. Now it doesn't, meaning I am now searching for gobbledygook because the new text is added to the old text. I don't want this, is there a way to return this to the way it used to be in Excel 2010 (other than returning to excel 2010 that is)? |
