I have column A that has values 1-4 in various cells.
I want for examples:
whatever cells A3 through A30 = "1" then A3,B3,E3,F3 and I3 turn green


Whatever cells A3 through A30 = "2" then A3,B3,E3,F3 and J3 turn blue
Whatever cells A3 through A30 = "3" then A3,B3,E3,F3 and K3 turn gold
Whatever cells A3 through A30 = "4" then A3,B3,G3 and L3 turn orange

color doesn't matter, just need to be different based on numbers 1 through 4 in column A
I am trying to highlight cells that will need input based on number in column A.

(I am really new to this) Just trying to do material take-offs. I can post a file if needed (if I figure out how) I would also like to know how to download posted excel files if needed
