Default Prevent Copying and Pasting

I want to hand out an MS Excel investment model to my fellow students for a university assignment. I want to prevent them from copying and SPECIFICALLY PASTING when I send out the financial model. How can I do this?

I am also trying to avoid to use VBA.

Thank you in advance

You can set the worksheet protection to disabling the selection of locked or unlocked cells - or both. This can all be implemented via Cells|Format on the Ribbon's Home tab. What they can't select, they can't copy. Of course, that doesn't prevent printing the file or saving it to a PDF whence the content can be copied...

Unfortunately, there is information / numbers that are needed to be entered in each cell. The formulae were put into each cell through data validation. I have realised that it may be prudent to block / prevent pasting without macros.

If you use a separate sheet for the data entry inputs, that will obviate the need for the users to have anything other than view access to the one you want to protect.
