Best secure way to share Excel worksheet for collaboration
I maintain a membership roster in Excel 97-2003 format. Currently it is stored on my personal computer and I want to share it with 1 or 2 other members to provide back-up support while I am occasionally away. Of course, they do not have access to my computer so I want to find a secure place to share it. I make updates only a few times a month.
I am considering using Google Drive and allow access to only these two members. Another option is for me to always send them my latest version with the most recent updates, and if I need to be away just notify one of them to make any updates that come in -- however, this method seems a bit archaic. What is the best, more secure way of doing this? Thank you |

You might equally upload the workbook to SkyDrive, where the users can access & edit it (if that's what you allow) without having to actually download it.
