keep each item/cell in column A associated with a group in column C

I have a survey and each column A item is the survey respondent. I am working with the contact info on this spreadsheet right now and not the survey responses yet. What I want to do is make sure I can track each survey response by respondent and also keep groups in column C appropriately associated. There are 3 groups/organizations in column C.
