Having trouble to share excel Sheet between Mac and WIndows Environment

Hi,

I am trying to share an excel sheet between Windows and Mac environment through Network Share Drive. But every time an employee from art department ( Mac) trying to open this excel sheet, it only open read only but employee from other department (Windows) does not have that problem. Any suggestion?
