Hi
there are lots of add-ins but all depends what kind of tasks you have to accomplish.
Could you be a bit more specific ?

IMHO the best productivity add-in is a thorough knowledge of those functions, etc. you need and how and when to use them. A good working knowledge of Excel vba could well be up there, as it allows you to write your own tools.

Excel VBA is the Excel version of Visual Basic for Applications, not VB6 (which hasn't been available for years) or its successor VB.NET. Ideally, you would learn VBA for whichever version(s) of Excel you work with - each version differs as features get added/revised/deleted.

So learning VB 6 will help for all VBA for all MS Office version?

I would have thought it obvious from my previous reply that the answer to that can only be No. VB6 has nothing to do with VBA.

There are many courses and books on Excel VBA. For books, you could do worse than start with these: http://spreadsheetpage.com/index.php/book/C45/

Don't forget that a lot can be accomplished with formulas, though...
