Default Remove outer circle from a radial chart.

Hello everyone,

I'm writing here because I have a problem with a radial chart.

You see, I've made an MS Excel program to calculate forces in Reinforced Concrete Tunnels. I have made 3 radial charts to graph the values of moment (flexural force), axial force (compression) and shear force.

I modified the scale of the charts to be 4000 (max); -4000 (minimum) and the greater unit to be 4000 so I don't have that many division lines.
By doing this, I can make the line that represents the "zero value" to be a single line; however, MS Excel will still plot an outer circle representing the maximum value of 4000. I don't want this division line to appear.

I have tried making "zero" to be the greater unit in the chart scale but Excel says the number has to be greater than zero.

I would like to have a single circle representing the zero value on the "y" axis, because that circle would represent the tunnel itself. And no more outer circles, just the data.

I have tried drawing a white donut shape to hide the outer line but whenever I change the diameter of the tunnel, in my excel program, all charts change and the donut shape would have to be redrawn again.

In the attachments, I have posted two charts: the first chart shows the moments in a tunnel with max value = 4000, min value = -4000 and the greater unit = 4000.

The second chart, shows how the graph would look like if I made the max value = 0, and greater unit = 4000. In this chart I make zero to be the greater division line by making the max value = 0 but the data from the crown and bottom of the tunnel do not show up.

The first chart is the best one because it shows all data, but I get an extra outer circle that I wish I could remove.

Would someone here have any idea on how to remove the outer circle of the graph without hiding the data? Can it be done anyway?

Thank you

I posted this question in another forum, about 3 weeks ago and I still haven't received a single reply. Please help!
