Creating a graph for Future Value function (FV function)
Hello!
I have tried to find a solution for this for a while now. I used the search function but did not find the solution from this forum either. I am pretty novice with Excel and I am using Excel 2013. I am using FV function to find out the future value of a monthly investment with a fixed interest rate. FV(rate, nper, pmt,[pv],[type]) I have a data sheet where you just fill in the interest rate, the monthly investment, the possible initial investment and the investment time in years. The formula gives out the future value of the investments. But I would also like to have a graph that always changes according to input values. So that the value of the investment would be on y-axis and time in years would be on x-axis. Is there an easy way to do this? Is there a command that would give the output of the function? So I would make the graph of the output. Or is there a direct method for creating a graph straight from the function? |

Here's a general idea of how I'd do it. I don't work with graphs much, so you'll have little difficulty making it a lot prettier.
