Default Close Excel before sending in outlook, without VBA

Hi All,

I have a service scheduled that is sent out automatically each evening at 18:00, all works well unless it has been left open on someone computer and then it wont send the Excel attachment.

Is there any way, without vba that I can close the excel sheet prior to sending or at a certain time or is there any way that I can create a excel sheet that can be used by multiple users and therefore appear to outlook that it is OK to send??
