A serious problem in integrating text file with an Excel file?
I have a problem at work, a convert text file into Excel file, which a lot to solve search did not find the solution: -
It will show the problem with the pictures to bring the issue: - First: This file format script I'm working on an old system which is the DOS Second: Log on to the Excel program and data list, and then chose from text button Then the rest of the steps And finally the final shape is totally inconsistent The question here is what is the solution to this problem? |

Without seeing the raw data, difficult to say.
And if you use "space" as delimiter ?

I used "space" as delimiter However it gives me the same result

I agree with Pecoflyer that a copy of the text file you're importing would make it a lot clearer. But my guess is that you're using the wrong option to start with. In step 1 of the Text-Import wizard, go with fixed-width fields rather than delimited. Judging from your screen shots, all the fields in the report are in the same text positions; once you've imported the results, just delete the rows that contain the page and column headers and that should leave you the data you want. Of course, you'll probably still have to do some formatting, but it's closer.
