Excel date or edate function help
Hi guys,
I have a date in column G9, but I want column H9 to display the exact same date, but a year later. this is what I have tried so far and without any success, I keep getting an error from excel. =DATE(YEAR(G9),MONTH(G9)+12,DAY(G9)) and =EDATE(G9,12) both times I keep getting an error. |

Hmm, I have no problem (see attached).
Could the G9 cell be in text format (or displayed using the TEXT() function), or contain something like leading or trailing characters that would essentially make the value NOT a date/time? |

And what type of error do you get?
