Question Problems with Match

I've tried to get the Match function to match the Month and give a reading of how many times we've visited that place in that month, but if I want it to find January it will, but then it'll also count everything else too.
How do I stop this, or get a better formula for this task??

Please give more details - can you show us the formula and data that you are using? Maybe upload an example!

I'm stupendously suprised that It's been about 5 weeks since my last logon - doesn't time fly?!

Here is the example... nearly a month later.... I really do feel like an idiot.
The Table in the first section is a month match, and the second section is matching the months with the ones down the side, giving the numbers there. That then feeds back to the section on the right of the first table giving the number on the second page.
