Is it possible to have a total of two cells in the 2nd?.


Example F2 has a number 1-100. Need to have G2 total with a $ amount that goes from1-$1000.00.
I bought 7 hay in F2 for $13.50. Total in G2 is7*$13.50=$94.50

In G2, insert the formula:
=F2*13.5

I wrote the question wrong. The $13.50 figure should be any dollar amount.

=F2*#
where # is your dollar amount.

Did what you said ,but now I think you want me to put a set dollar amount where the # is.
Like I posted earlier that figure can be any dollar amount $1.00 to $100000.00; that is the problem.

Just how is a Worksheet_Change Event supposed to input the required number, which the OP has yet to indicate either where it is to be found or how it's variable value is to be determined, into the formula? Until both those issues are resolved, no solution is possible.

The hope is that although the OP has not learnt enough to describe this impractical assignment clearly, the intent is to enter data in the F column followed by entering data in the G column. In the Worksheet.Change code the product of F and G will replace the value in G.

Even so, I'd be surprised if the desired result can't be achieved without resorting to Worksheet_Change macros (eg via a series of IF tests or a LOOKUP formula that references a table for the variable values).
