Hi Paul
I have tested the revised ParseIT UDF and it is still not quite working. An additional problem I have is that when I paste the data (via VBA) from MS Project Excel is guessing the format of the cells and I need the data to remain as a General format.
I enclose a sample file so you can see what I am working with.

Hi Tony,

The paste issue really has nothing to do with the Function and it's not something the Function could be made to do a reasonable interpretation of (I gather you're hoping for something that can work out that the commas aren't thousands separators but are just commas in a string of numbers). That aspect might be better handled via one of the PasteSpecial options. Even re-applying the General format isn't going to restore the commas to the data, though.
