CORREL function with a constant array
I am trying to formulate a spreadsheet and calculate correlation between one column and around 300 others. I don't want to to it all by hand, and so I was wondering if there is any way to make one column "stick" in the formula as array 1 and then add the current column that the function is in as the second array:
A B C D E F G (A,G) (B,G) (C,G) (D,G) (E,G) (F,G) Thanks! |

Hi
If I understand you correctly for the range you want to remain static you need to enter a "$" before both the Col and Row numbers. When that formula is then replicated elsewhere that section will not change. Hope this helps. Good luck. Tony |

Thanks, that helped a lot. Such a simple fix, can't believe I didn't see it before.
