Default Excel or Access Shifting data

I have a problem my be simple for some.

I have data in 10 colums, some of the data has empty colums between each other or before and after each other. I would like to shift all the data in the colums up against the one berfore it so the columns have no blanks at the start only after.

If this makes no sense. i will try to explain again.

Hi
Follow these steps:
1. Select all the columns up to the last column containing data.
2. Click on the Data tab.
3. Click on the Sort button.
4. In the Sort dialog box click on Options.
5. Select Left to Right.
6. Click OK.
7. Select Row 1 to sort by.
8. Click OK.
This will sort by columns rather than rows and shift all empty column to the right of your data.
Good luck.
Tony
