Hello again, 0ne more question if I may…
Can I make an excel worksheet function exactly like a word document? I know I can use Insert/Object and insert a word document into an excel worksheet, but in trying to use it I have found it very un-user friendly, the word doc insert just behaves very haphazardly. I’d like to have tabs in my excel doc that are simply text pages, ideally like a page in word – can this be done?? Thanks again for any feedback! Kenny |

Not readily. If you want word-processing functionality, use Word.
Depending on your requirements, you may get better results by embedding an Excel worksheet in the Word document - or linking one to the other.

Thanks for the advice - I have been using word for years, but I have just recently started using excel and I really like the tabbed pages setup and found myself wishing that I could have some of those tabs open to word documents. I already have the associated word documents but it would be great if they were right there in excel on available tabs. Your suggestion of using links might do the trick - just put a link in an excel page to the associated word doc - I'll try that... cheers!
