Smile Reporting Machine Usage

I have an excel file (sample attached) that reports the start and stop time that various machines are in use. I need to be able to report on the amount of time that multiple machines are in use.
For example, if I had 10 machines I would need to report on the total amount of time that no machine is in use, only 1 machine is in use, 2 machines are in use,..., all 10 machines are in use.

I've found a time consuming, complicated way to do in involving an excellerated running clock and a series of vlookups but, as my machine counts could be as high as 30 and a period of usage over a year or so, I would have to leave my computer running for a week!

I'm hoping there is an easier way to report on these overlapping time periods.

Thanks in advance
