Default How to add a fixed value to an entire column?

Hello, I am a wholesaler and have received an inventory spreadsheet with pricing for products from my Distributor, in order for me to send the sheet to my retailers, I first need to update the prices of each product to add my markup so if I should need to add $3 to every item's pricing, is there a way I can add the $3 to EVERY product's existing pricing and have th sheet updated to reflect MY pricing please?

sorry, I'm not all that familiar with spreadsheet editing, under "Auto sum" when clicking on the "Formulas" tab, in the dropdown menu which appears when I click on the arrow on the Auto Sum tab I click the SUM option, this shows some numbers showing up elsewhere in the sheet? I have 2 pricing in the original sheet, the wholesale pricing I am getting from my distributor when ordering more than 48+ pcs, this is under Column D and the pricing for any amount less than 48 pcs in column E, help?

If you open a new spread sheet and type 3 in cell A1 and in cell B1 type =sum(A1+3) it will calculate it for you, then it's a case of copying the formulae down the page to replicate it to all the stock.

No need for fancy formulas or whatever
Enter the value 3 in any empty cell and copy it
Select the range(s) where you need the value added (entire range(s) adjacent or not)
Right click and click Paste Special
Select Add under the Operation header - Ok - Done

Did you copy value 3 in an empty cell somewhere in the same sheet?

Did you copy (or cut - either works) the 3 after inputting it?

yes I did copy the 3.00 then selected the entire E column, right click in it then chose "Paste Special" and that's when the new window opens BUT I closed the sheet re-opened it tried your instructions again and this time when I right click and Paste Special another smaller window opened and I see the option to choose ADD so it workds now, thank you very much guys!
