![]() I found a way of cutting/pasting genealogical data into a sheet. The data is pasted in columns: Name-Date-Location-Family Data but some columns use up to 6 rows like Family Data that has parents, DOB, Gender, Event Place, Archive Number and so on. Then there is a blank row as a delimiter and another entry identical in format using 6 rows below it. These blocks of 6 row data are repeated 100's of times. Is there anyway to logically tag and isolate these blocks of data so I can sort on values within them? |

CAUTION!! Sorting a spreadsheet with hidden columns will trash your data. | psmaster@earthlink.net | Excel | 0 | 11-24-2009 11:54 AM |
