Default Date--Time shortcut problem

Office '07

Instead of Shift + ; returning the correct date and time of day, it returns:

10/17/2012 12:00:00 AM<<---this time regardless?

Hi Mark,

CTRL+: Enters the current time.
CTRL+; Enters the current date

The is no single shortcut for both.

Okay, so I just insert both functions in the same cell.

Btw, I just noticed you were 'promoted' to admin. Although this might have occurred years ago, my lack of a timely notice does not diminish the congrats ;-).
